FARM AND COUNTRY LINK

Support for Lincolnshire farmers from NFU experts

Farmers in Lincolnshire have welcomed the creation of a panel of agricultural experts which has been formed by the National Farmers’ Union.

The newly created Rural Surveyor Panel is designed to offer guidance and support to farmers on a range of issues, including rent reviews, tenancy succession and advice on lettings. To be eligible for support from the NFU initiative, recipients must farm in the East Midlands region, which covers Lincolnshire.

Chartered surveyors Andrew Granger & Co, who have agricultural clients across the East Midlands, is one of only ten companies appointed by the NFU for the East Midlands after a rigorous selection procedure. Successful applicants were required to demonstrate a high level of expertise and experience to support the needs of farming members. To secure a place on the panel, Andrew Granger & Co had to provide evidence of their agricultural specialism and quality of advice to meet the strict criteria.

Rupert Harrison, Head of Rural and Managing Partner at Andrew Granger & Co, says, “I am delighted that our expertise in this area has been recognised by the NFU. We already have excellent links and relationships within the rural community and look forward providing professional advice and support to local NFU members.”
