"Must attend" digital conference returns in 2012

LincUpLive, the East Midlands’ most talked about digital conference, is returning to Lincoln on 24th February with a line up of world-class speakers from IBM, Orange and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

A limited batch of early bird tickets are now available for £75 per delegate, reduced from the full rate of £195.

Thought leaders from two of the world’s leading technology companies will be appearing at the show including Yann Gourvennec, Head of Social at Orange who will be hosting a workshop on how to force change in business for social media. And the worldwide social media manager for IBM, Delphine Remy Boutang will lead a keynote on how one of the world’s oldest and largest technology companies is uses social media and demonstrates its success and value.

Attendees will also hear from one of the East Midlands’ leading internet marketing specialists, Susan Hallam of Hallam Internet and the Head of Social Media at Marie Curie Cancer Care, Stuart Witts.

LincUpLive launched last year and was a sell out event. This year demand for tickets is high from businesses both in the East Midlands and beyond. Celia Lacy, co-founder of the event, says, “The quality of speakers for LincUpLive 2012 rivals all other digital conferences hosted in much bigger cities such as London. Our line-up features some of the most influential people in the digital industry, these are the people with the experience to inspire and inform businesses with their insight and creativity.

“LincUpLive 2012 will give businesses – big and small – a strong set of tools and ideas to feed into their own marketing plans. Social media is an essential ingredient for growing and maintaining successful customer relationships in our digital world. Businesses now have the power to utilise an incredible landscape of opportunities and reach areas which the traditional media world could never provide.”

The event will be hosted at the new luxury four star DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln. Throughout the day there will be a series of keynote speakers interspersed with breakout workshops, all led by experts in social media, marketing and business practice. Delegates can hear inspiring insight from world-class presenters, seek one-to-one advice during the breakouts and networking sessions and take part in discussions and debate on the business value of using sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
