New salon is cream of the crop
Businesswoman Mandy Marshall has invested in new premises and given seven experienced city hairdressers the chance to go for a “restyle.”
When Mandy heard that colleagues in the trade were worried they might be facing redundancy, she realised she was staring a brilliant business opportunity in the face. So she decided to search for the perfect premises to house a slick new salon and quickly discovered that Lincoln commercial agent Banks Long & Co had the ideal unit on its books.
Now after snapping-up a brand new outlet on Outer Circle Road, Mandy - who also has an equine dental services business – has launched Cream Hairstyling, which is providing a full range of services for ladies and gentlemen. She says, “I shall continue to run Mandy Marshall Equine Dental Services as well as spending time growing Cream Hairstyling. The best thing about our new salon is that it is in a superb position, right on the doorstep of hundreds of homes and businesses. It is also next to bustling food outlets, within sight of constantly passing traffic and, of course, it’s great to have free parking spaces right outside the door.”
Banks Long & Co's Matthew Brooks says, “This deal have given Mandy the opportunity to put her stamp on brand new premises, which have come with a new lease. She even benefited from a rent-free period, which was a bonus because it allowed her time to fit-out the salon.
"Neighbouring businesses include Domino’s Pizza and Fillets, so this part of Outer Circle Road – directly opposite the busy Carlton Centre, with its national-name retailers and other niche businesses – serves a large catchment area and has the potential to attract lots of customers."
