An opportunity for local enterprising businesses
A WorldHost Customer Service Taster session for East Coast companies and organisations is being held on Friday 9th March at the Embassy Theatre in Skegness.
With less than six months to go until the 2012 Olympic Games, it’s not just London that will be welcoming extra visitors – lots of venues throughout the UK, including Lincolnshire, are opening their doors to act as hosts. This is an exciting and great opportunity for local enterprising businesses to think beyond the Olympics and look at what we can learn from the whole process of providing excellent customer service.
In partnership with East Lindsey District Council, Boston College invites you to an exclusive and complementary taster session which will introduce the WorldHost concept for Customer Service with its unique company recognition programme.
The WorldHost programme is designed to give your organisation the competitive edge, and is a world class training programme delivered under exclusive rights by People 1st.
Originally developed in Canada, WorldHost proved extremely successful in preparing hospitality and tourism staff and volunteers to provide an excellent welcome and service during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics Games and has recently been awarded the London 2012 Inspire mark by LOCOG (the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games).
WorldHost training will be offered to tens of thousands of employees and contractors’ staff who will be working at the Olympic and Paralympic venues. WorldHost also has the backing of the Institute of Directors and leading businesses including McDonald’s, who will be embedding the WorldHost customer service training in their employee development programme.
The WorldHost training covers the key principles of customer service and is a proven route to raising the standards of Customer Service.
Tracie Charles, Commercial Training Manager at Boston College said;” The WorldHost training programme is set to raise the standard and delivery of customer service training in the UK. As the UK prepares to host the Olympics and other world-class events there has never been a better time to focus on improving the customer experience for everyone.
The taster session on 9th March will be an opportunity for organisations on the east coast of Lincolnshire to be part of this exciting programme. Boston College are pleased to be work with East Lindsey District Council and People 1st to promote the WorldHost concept to this area.”.
