BUSINESS

Networking event to offer "fantastic" opportunity

More than seventy key commercial property agents and developers in Lincolnshire are to attend a networking event at Lincoln’s newest hotel.

Invest Lincolnshire, the initiative responsible for promoting investment opportunities in the county, is hosting the event at DoubleTree by Hilton on Brayford Wharf North in a bid to encourage investment within the county.  The ideas is to bring together key agents and those looking to develop businesses in Lincolnshire, as well as give them a chance to meet the Business Investment Team at Invest Lincolnshire, which is the economic development arm of Lincolnshire County Council.

Invest in Lincolnshire: A Networking Event for Property Agents and Developers will take place on Thursday 23rd February from 11.30am to 2pm and will feature presentations by business leaders from organisations including Siemens and QV Foods.

Jill McCarthy, Business Investment Manager for Lincolnshire County Council who heads up Invest Lincolnshire, says, “We are very pleased with the numbers that have signed up for the day. It will give potential investors a chance to meet key developers and property agents. Because of the good attendance we’re expecting, it does give fantastic opportunity to network as well as get an update in all the opportunities that are going on in Lincolnshire at the moment.”

Those attending will have the chance to tour the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln's hotel on the marina. Business leaders from the tourism, engineering and food sectors which have already opted to invest their brand in Lincolnshire will speak to delegates about what prompted their decision and how their business is faring as a result.
