Family craft day in Lincoln

The Museum of Lincolnshire Life has the ideal way to keep the kids entertained this half-term - and without breaking the bank.

On Thursday 16th February, the Lincoln-based museum will be hosting a family craft day called Disguises and Surprises. The event runs from 10am - 3.30pm, and is packed with a range of activities for youngsters. Admission to the museum is free, although there is a £1 charge for some of the craft activities. All children must be accompanied.

Nicola Roger, District Manager, said: “Throughout history, we’ve enjoyed stories and plays about characters that dress up in disguise and have all sorts of wonderful adventures. In our modern times we continue this tradition through fancy-dress parties and Halloween costumes.

“Why not come and spend a special day with us, making masks, disguises, hats and surprises with our friendly staff to guide you? You can also try our free Time-Detective trail around the museum.”

For more information on the museum, please visit www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/museumoflincolnshirelife or call 01522 782040.
