Lincolnshire Sprints Academy starts next month

Potential sprint athletes and coaches are invited to the Lincolnshire Sprints Academy in Lincoln next month.

Athletes of all ages can attend the training session which includes training and support from elite coaches.

Coaches are also welcome to attend the academy to get some new ideas and learn from some of the top coaches.

Rachel Belcher from Lincolnshire Sports Partnership developed the academy and has been delighted with the response so far: “The Sprints Academy was set up as a direct response to the very successful Lincolnshire Throws Academy which takes place every month at the Princess Royal Sports Arena (PRSA) in Boston. We wanted to provide an academy purely for sprints athletes and the academy has been a huge success so far.”

The first Sprints Academy will take place at The Priory Academy LSST in Lincoln on Sunday 11th March 2012, from 11am – 3pm and costs £10 for the day.

Lincolnshire Sprints Academy was established in September 2010 by Lincolnshire Sports Partnership and Lincolnshire Athletics Network.
