Daytime Zumba fitness in Lincoln

Two new Zumba sessions are starting in Lincoln to offer the opportunity to keep fit in the daytime.

Zumba classes will start at the new Fight Factory Gym off Great Northern Terrace in Lincoln every Wednesday. A lunch break Zumba will run from 12.30 – 1.30pm, with a second session running from 1.30 – 2.30pm every week – anyone can attend.

Emma Maskell will be leading the sessions. She said: “Zumba is a mix of dance and aerobics, so the sessions are a great way to keep fit whilst having fun. I am looking forward to them starting next week.”

The Fight Factory Gym has been working with Lincolnshire Active Community Network (LACN) to establish activities in the local area. This is the first of many new activities which will be starting in the gym.

Shane Ward from LACN said: “Zumba is so popular now that we really wanted to offer a daytime class for anyone who can’t attend a class in the evening due to child care or working shifts. The lunch break zumba is aimed at any workers who want to do some fitness during their lunch break”.

The first session is only £1 each if you book in advance to allow the opportunity to try it out. To book your place call Shane on 07944 432400 or email bookings@linconshiresports.co.uk. Alternatively just turn up on the day and join in.
