Heather moves into the driving seat at Astle

Astle BMW dealerships in Grimsby and Scunthorpe have a new woman in the driving seat to handle their marketing and communications.

Heather Robertson, from South Cave near Hull, has been appointed Marketing Manager at Astle BMW and MINI after working as a Customer Relations Advisor at Humberside airport and as CRM Manager at a public limited company in Hull.

Heather’s main responsibilities as Marketing Manager include developing and implementing marketing plans, managing customer database systems, developing effective communications in both the Scunthorpe and Grimsby dealerships and monitoring customer satisfaction – the primary focus of BMW.

“My experience working at a plc has certainly given me the benefit of structure, organisation and good practice,” said Heather, “I’m looking forward to the fresh challenge here at Astle and applying those qualities to my new role.

“Astle offers more opportunity to get involved in other areas of the business, a chance to really get stuck into the marketing and advertising and still be able to interact with customers.”

Heather has almost three years’ experience working for a BMW dealership in Hull and is excited about the move to Astle.

“I see this as a big progression in my career because, despite it being a similar position to the one I had before, I have more responsibility and there’s a network of people here that support me in the marketing team.

“It’s a really varied role and there’s a lot to learn but it’s a fantastic opportunity and I can’t wait to get going with it,” concluded Heather.
