MOTORCYCLING

Think bike with new app

A new app which allows bikers to plan their routes safely now includes Lincolnshire's roads.

The IBikerApp is for Android and Apple iPhone has now been updated with Lincolnshire routes that have been filmed by Linclolnshire Road Safety Partnership. The App is available now on Android phones.

Lincolnshire Police motorcyclists have filmed county roads on video and provided a commentary covering sharp bends, hidden dips and refreshment stops for the benefit of the biker community.

Detective Inspector Rob Grace of Lincolnshire Police says, "The iBiker app is an innovative, forward-thinking, consumer-friendly app and an excellent way motorcyclists can preview roads from a bikers' perspective and plan journeys on what may be an unfamiliar road, all from video run-throughs."
