Greenbank scores with charity dinner

Over 150 people attended a spectacular Charity Dinner to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care and LIVES Emergency Response. The dinner was organised by the volunteers at Greenbank Junior Football Club at the Bentley Hotel in Lincoln, and altogether £2000 was raised.

The evening included live entertainment, a three-course meal and auction with all the money raised going to the charities. HSBC also matched £500 of the money raised with the remainder coming from ticket sales, the auction and games run on the night.

Adrian Coy, Greenbank Chairman, says, “The night was a great success. It was fantastic to raise the money for the two charities. This was the second charity dinner we have organised and we hope to organise another one in two years’ time.”
