Chocks away at the Bomber Ball

An evening of entertainment with an aviation theme took place at Lincoln’s EPIC Centre.

Organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, the Bomber Ball was held in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund, the Society’s charity of the year.

With members of the RAF currently deployed in areas such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya and defence cuts being felt back home particularly in counties such as Lincolnshire, supporting the work of the RAFBF is more important than ever and those attending the ball had he chance to further pledge their help by bidding in the auction of promises and taking part in the raffle. Many of the auction lots were suitably aviation-themed with guests able to bid on a VIP Day with the Red Arrows and much more.

Guests also enjoyed live music from Soul Solution and dancing until the early hours.
