Grantham Lions' ruby celebrations

Grantham Lions Club celebrated their fortieth charter anniversary dinner with a memorable evening at the town’s Belton Park Golf Club. Over a hundred guests were welcomed by Lion president Geoffrey MacKinder.

In recognition of the tremendous support given by Grantham Police Cadets, a cheque was presented to PC Tina Demonte as a tribute to their dedication in serving the Lions charity. In addition, seven of the club members were presented with service chevrons by District Governor Lion Ajit Virdi.

Entertainment was provided by Trevor Leeson, former member of The Merseybeats, who performed and provided a fund of anecdotes from his career.
