Leeds legends in Lincoln

Leeds legends Allan Clarke and Paul Reaney were the guests of honour at Lincoln Sportsmans Club’s latest evening at the Bentley Hotel.

Allan and Paul were both members of the famous Leeds team of the early seventies that, under Don Revie, was one of the most successful in English football, and both played for England. At the event they swapped stories about their time in what’s considered a golden age of football.

As ever the aim of the event was to raise cash for new sporting talent and this time Jo and Haran Dunderdale were presented with a cheque. Jo is enjoying great success in the javelin while his sibling Haran looks a great prospect in the decathlon.
