Luxury retirement developer, Arbor Living, has announced that the third phase of its Lakeshore development has reached completion.
Lakeshore, which is next to the Burton Waters complex and only two miles from central Lincoln, has released a further nine luxury park homes on the 20-acre site.
The development, which will have a total of 64 properties when all five phases are complete, features high-spec park homes offering over-55s a smarter lifestyle option when they are looking to downsize and release equity in their property.
The site, which is set within beautiful landscaped grounds around a lake and next to the Fossdyke Navigation canal, now has 29 homes in the private, gated community and 76% of the homes have already been sold or reserved.
Graham Richardson, Managing Director at Arbor Living, said: “Lakeshore is a special place to live and phase three has already received a lot of interest. We are developing the site in a phased approach as it enables us to carefully create the community and bring together residents who are looking for a lifestyle that is both peaceful and close to nature as well as being well connected to amenities.
“We have been onsite since 2015 and have invested over £3m into the development so far and it’s wonderful to see how the community has come to life and hear feedback from homeowners who are enjoying the lifestyle here.
“Our aim has always been to deliver something a bit different and Lakeshore offers people moving into semi-retirement or retirement a luxurious yet practical lifestyle without compromise. Myself and the team look forward to the progressing to the final two phases of the project.”
Lakeshore, which is Arbor Living’s first development of its kind, is challenging perceptions of park homes and setting the benchmark in style and quality. The Lakeshore development is managed by local agent Winkworth, which was established in 1835.
Martin Thomson, Director at Winkworth, said: “We continue to see a demand for single storey living in Lincolnshire, but we find that many over-55s struggle to find a luxury, new build bungalow as they are very scarce. Arbor Living’s park homes offer those in semi-retirement or retirement an alternative option to the traditional bungalow.”
