Accident repair firm expands into Scunthorpe

Accident repair specialists, React Accident Repair Group, are set to open brand-new premises in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, in October.

Work is underway on the new repair centre, which will initially create around 12 new jobs in the area, growing to 20 over the next year.

React is owned by John Pattinson, Barry Whittles and Chris Elton, who joined forces two years ago with the formation of React Accident Repair Group, which subsequently acquired The Paint & Body Shop in Hull.

John Pattinson, MD of React Accident Repair Group, said: “Many may think that the current economic climate would make this a challenging time to expand but, for us, we feel the timing is perfect.

“The support of our incredible team has meant that we are experiencing higher levels of demand for our services than ever before and it’s really exciting to be expanding into North Lincolnshire to capitalise on this momentum.”

Roles available at the new premises in Scunthorpe include estimators, receptionist staff, panel beaters, painters and sprayers, transport and logistics operators, valeters.
