Do something amazing and adopt with North Lincs Council

Not all superheroes wear capes. Could you be the parents our little superheroes are looking for?

Adopting won’t change the world, but it will change the world for the child you adopt.

North Lincolnshire Council want to hear from people who can provide a loving home for children of all ages from a range of backgrounds.

Single? Don’t own your own home? In a same sex relationship? You can adopt. There is no upper age limit, you just need to be over 21 to adopt.  You don’t even have to live in North Lincolnshire to adopt with the Council.

Find out more at the Council’s Adoption Information Day during National Adoption Week on Saturday 19 October 2019 from 11am to 5pm at Brumby Centre, Grange Lane North, Scunthorpe, DN16 1BN

You’ll have the opportunity to meet experienced adopters who will share their experiences of being a single adopter, parenting for the first time, same sex couple adopters and adopting after children have left the family home.

You can also visit the website or call 01724 297024 for more information.

A message from the Editor:

Thank you for reading this story on our news site - please take a moment to read this important message:

As you know, our aim is to bring you, the reader, an editorially led news site and magazine but journalism costs money and we rely on advertising, print and digital revenues to help to support them.

With the Covid-19 pandemic having a major impact on our industry as a whole, the advertising revenues we normally receive, which helps us cover the cost of our journalists and this website, have been drastically affected.

As such we need your help. If you can support our news sites/magazines with either a small donation of even £1, or a subscription to our magazine, which costs just £27.55 per year, (inc p&P and mailed direct to your door) your generosity will help us weather the storm and continue in our quest to deliver quality journalism.

As a subscriber, you will have unlimited access to our web site and magazine. You'll also be offered VIP invitations to our events, preferential rates to all our awards and get access to exclusive newsletters and content.

Just click here to subscribe and in the meantime may I wish you the very best.
