Bransby Horses, the Lincolnshire-based equine rescue and welfare charity, will be holding its annual Autumn Fayre on Sunday 30th September 2018.
This year as the charity celebrates its 50th anniversary, a ‘Horses Through the Ages’ parade will commemorate the 50 years of equines and its evolution over the last five decades.
Attendees can also see some of the recent rescues enter the arena to show off their progress and a ridden demonstration from a selection of the horses in the Rehoming Barn looking for their perfect home.
The Dog Show will once again take place near the Visitor Centre that is kindly sponsored by VetSpec. Classes include Best Rescue, Golden Oldie and Waggiest Tail. There is no need to leave your four legged at home when they can come along and join in the fun too.
That’s not all, there is plenty of opportunity to browse the variety of stalls along Memory Lane and grab a bargain in the second-hand tack and rug sale throughout the day.
You can enter the Bransby Horses raffle and tombola for your chance to win some fantastic prizes and support the charity at the same time.
The Feedroom Café will be providing a delicious meat and veggie BBQ in the courtyard throughout the day with a drink stand and Pimms and Prosecco available to purchase.
With more than 400 horses, ponies and donkeys to care for, the Autumn Fayre is a vital fundraiser for the charity and also a chance for Bransby Horses to thank their supporters as well as welcome new ones.
Donations are gratefully received on entry and all funds raised go towards the welfare work to help care for, rehabilitate and rehome the horses, ponies and donkeys that have been rescued.
Bransby Horses Autumn Fayre will take place Sunday 30th September, 11am-4pm. Stagecoach is running a free bus service; visit the Bransby Horses’ website for further information.
