The Cross Keys offering boxes of fresh bread and produce during lockdown

The Cross Keys in Grasby is planning to put together boxes of fruit and vegetables for locals looking to for a variety of fresh produce during the coronavirus lockdown.

Although the bar and restaurant isn’t open to diners as per the government’s request, that doesn’t mean its not responding to the crisis.

Head chef and co-owner, Stephanie Barker, is currently working with her suppliers to ensure a dependable supply of fresh fruit and vegetables. Steph is planning to put together boxes to help locals observe social distancing whilst also getting access to high quality produce.

Not only that, Steph is also working on making fresh bread and some pasties, including mini quiches, for those that would be interested.

Boxes will be put together on the day and dropped off at your front door, minimising contact. Get in touch with Steph on Facebook messenger to find out more about what’s on offer and pricing.
