End of week figures show Lincs Coronavirus cases up to 1,670

Figures released last night (Sunday 17 May) show that the number of COVID-19 cases locally have reached 1,670.

This amounts to 1,040 cases in Lincolnshire, 146 in North East Lincolnshire and 484 in North Lincolnshire.

Broken down further, there have now been 210 cases in Boston, 152 in East Lindsey, 117 in Lincoln, 131 in North Kesteven, 198 in South Holland, 154 in South Kesteven and 78 in West Lindsey.

There are now a total of 243,695 lab-confirmed cases in the UK overall.

The figures come at the end of the first week of the Government’s new, slightly relaxed, Coronavirus rules for England, allowing people to: spend time outdoors outside of exercise (such as for picnicking, or sunbathing), exercise outdoors as often as desired, meet one other person from a different household outdoors (following social distancing guidelines), use outdoor sports courts or facilities with members of your household, or one other person while staying 2 metres apart, and go to garden centres.
