The number of COVID-19 cases across the county has passed 53,000.
As of Sunday 28 February, a total of 53,483 cases have been reported across Greater Lincolnshire since the pandemic began – an increase in 1,283 cases from the Sunday prior.
This represents slightly more new cases than the week ending 21 February, which saw 1,219 new instances.
Broken down, Lincolnshire has reported a total of 37,755 cases, North East Lincolnshire has seen 7,681 cases, and North Lincolnshire has witnessed 8,047 cases.
At lower tier local authority level, Boston has recorded a total of 4,427 instances, East Lindsey has seen 5,877, Lincoln has witnessed 6,561, North Kesteven has reported 5,244, South Holland has recorded 4,611, South Kesteven has seen 6,813, and West Lindsey has witnessed 4,222 cases.
