Festive cheer and magical views as Lincoln Castle set to sparkle and shine this Christmas

Lincoln Castle Illuminated is back to bring visitors festive cheer and magical views

Each evening, from Saturday 11th December through to Thursday 23rd December, Lincoln Castle will light up with spectacular Christmas lights to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

Discover glittering trails of sparkling lights, trees drenched in jewel-like colours, and take a sneak peek into Santa’s workshop.

Stephanie Beecher, Lincoln Castle event officer, says: “Walking around the grounds with the lights and Christmas trees on display is a stunning sight.

“Drinking it all in with a mug of hot chocolate or mulled wine is perfect for warming you up and getting into the festive spirit with your family and friends.

“You can also upgrade your ticket to include the Illuminated Wall Walk, which gives beautiful, birds-eye views over the festive atmosphere below.

“Our Castle shop will also be open for any of those last-minute secret Santa or stocking presents you need!”

Lincoln Castle Illuminated will be open from 5 pm to 9 pm between Saturday 11th December and Thursday 23rd December.

If you would like your furry companion to enjoy the festivities with you then not book a ticket for one of our Dog-Friendly evenings? Available on Wednesday 15th and 22nd December.
