Jack Pack “swing” in aid of Newark Women’s Refuge

International Singing Group / Boy Band and the UK’s most successful swing group, Jack Pack will appear for one night only to help keep Newark Women’s Aid Refuge open.

Their fabulous family show, taking place at Newark Palace Theatre on Friday 15th November, is backed by a full live band and songs from the greatest jazz and swing singers from Michael Bublé to Rat Pack and everything in between – an amazing mix of classics, singalongs and a sprinkle of Christmas!

Newark Women’s Aid is a long-standing Women’s refuge and has been run as a local charity for over 45 years. It provides safety and security for women and children who flee from situations of domestic violence. The Refuge is the only one in the local area and is part of an essential national network that provides safety for families when all other solutions have failed, usually in the most extreme or violent circumstances.

Its primary funding from Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has been targeted to end in March 2020 and it an attempt to keep this essential local facility open, Newark Women’s Aid have persuaded international signing stars to appear in Newark for one night only with ticket sales going toward keeping this crucial service open.
