Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials return next week with exhilarating equestrian action

From Thursday 1 – Sunday 4 September, the famous Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials will return to Burghley House.

Acknowledged globally by leading riders as their ultimate competitive goal, the equestrian event attracts fantastic crowds from across the country.

Witness exhilarating equestrian action alongside shopping avenues, specialist food stalls, and enjoy the plethora of other attractions and activities on offer, from the Shetland Pony Grand National, to the Land Rover Experience, free face painting and more.

The Household Cavalry Foundation has been announced as the event’s official charity for 2022. The Foundation provides charitable and pastoral welfare support to all the members of the Household Cavalry ‘family’ comprising serving soldiers, operational casualties, veterans and dependants. The Foundation also supports the Household Cavalry’s heritage, and, working with equine charities, its retired horses.

Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials – widely recognized as the most challenging of all the five star events and a fabulous social occasion with over 600 hand selected shopping outlets – will this year also see the largest prize fund in the event’s sixty-year history.
