The number of Coronavirus cases in Greater Lincolnshire continues to increase at a more rapid rate as 3,915 new instances were reported in the past week. This is in comparison to 2,372 during the week prior.
As of a total of 69,207 cases of COVID-19 have been reported across the county, since the pandemic began, up from 65,292 on .
Broken down, Lincolnshire has reported a total of 46,227 cases (up 1,908 in a week), North East Lincolnshire has seen 12,221 cases (up 1,511), and North Lincolnshire has witnessed 10,759 cases (up 496).
At lower tier local authority level, Boston has recorded a total of 5,585 instances (up 204 in a week), East Lindsey has seen 7,387 (up 443), Lincoln has witnessed 7,756 (up 365), North Kesteven has reported 6,164 (up 274), South Holland has recorded 5,786 (up 90), South Kesteven has seen 8,257 (up 277), and West Lindsey has witnessed 5,292 (up 255).
The figures come ahead of the Government’s plans to lift most Covid guidance and legal restrictions on 19 July.
