Lincolnshire’s Coronavirus cases pass 50,000

The number of COVID-19 cases across the county has passed 50,000.

As of Sunday 14 February, a total of 50,981 cases have been reported across Greater Lincolnshire since the pandemic began – an increase in 1,296 cases from the Sunday prior.

This represents less new cases than the week ending 7 February, which saw 1,614 new instances.

Broken down, Lincolnshire has reported a total of 35,964 cases, North East Lincolnshire has seen 7,292 cases, and North Lincolnshire has witnessed 7,725 cases.

At lower tier local authority level, Boston has recorded a total of 4,179 instances, East Lindsey has seen 5,719, Lincoln has witnessed 6,342, North Kesteven has reported 4,983, South Holland has recorded 4,251, South Kesteven has seen 6,499, and West Lindsey has witnessed 3,991 cases.
