Local businesswoman shortlisted for national awards

Elaine Bielby from Music with Mummy Lincoln and Surrounding Villages based in Skellingthorpe has just found out that they are a Finalist in the prestigious Networking Mummies UK Ltd Recognition National Business Awards in the category of Business Mum of the Year.

Music with Mummy is a unique music education programme that will take a child on a musical journey from birth, all the way through the preschool ages. The structured weekly music classes use baby songs and fun activities for children to encourage listening and social skills, so essential not only in music but in all other areas of learning. They will develop a sense of rhythm, which will also help with learning and speech development. The
fabulous music and songs for babies and children are an eclectic mixture of traditional tunes that are unique to our delightful programme.

Networking Mummies UK Ltd has 24 branches in the UK and supports mums, dads and families in business with free networking events and affordable workshops. They provide online and offline support and they do not charge membership fees which means people can attend when they want. This is the third year Networking Mummies UK Ltd have hosted their National Business Awards to recognise the hard working mums and dads across the country.

The winners will be announced at their glitzy black tie awards ceremony on Saturday the 19 th of May at Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham where they will also be raising funds for The Brain Tumour org on the night.

Elaine Bielby quotes ‘I am so proud and honoured to have been announced a Finalist. To me what I do is very rewarding anyway, but to be recognised for that is amazing.”
