A memory walk is being held in Lincoln to help raise vital funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The UK charity campaigns for change, funds research to find and cure for dementia, and supports people living with dementia and their carers.

In Lincoln alone, the Alzheimer’s Society has a dementia café, holds ‘singing for the brain’ sessions, and has a dementia support service.

Fundraising is vital to supporting these important services and without, they would sadly be unable to operate.

You can help raise funds for the charity by taking part in the forthcoming memory walk taking place on Saturday 21 September at Whisby Nature Park in Lincoln.

Volunteers will join Jackie Kirk, Depurty Lord Mayor of Lincoln, Consort Michael Williams, the chairman of NK district council, and members of the public.

You can get a registration pack by calling Jane (07852822303) Emily (07850310494) or Jean (07908960879).
