Last week the total number of Coronavirus cases across Greater Lincolnshire passed 28,000.
As of Sunday 6 December, the county has seen 28,723 cases since the start of the pandemic: 18,313 in Lincolnshire, 5,389 in North East Lincolnshire, and 5,021 in North Lincolnshire.
At lower tier local authority level, Boston has recorded a total of 2,321 instances, East Lindsey has seen 3,745, Lincoln has witnessed 3,383, North Kesteven has reported 2,382, South Holland has recorded 1,937, South Kesteven has seen 2,638, and West Lindsey has witnessed 1,907 cases.
Looking closer at the past 7 days, Lincolnshire has reported 1,854 new cases, while North East Lincolnshire has recorded 313, and North Lincolnshire, 329. This means there has been less new cases in the past week than the week prior.
Of the new cases, 305 were in Boston, 327 were in East Lindsey, 328 were in Lincoln, 259 were in North Kesteven, 145 were in South Holland, 274 were in South Kesteven, and 216 were in West Lindsey.
