Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre Reveals September slate

Stamford Corn Exchange reveals their September slate with a variety of performances and events.

A Night with the Stars brings together four popular tribute acts to showcase the musical and vocal talents of Del Shannon, Roy Orbison, Robin Gibb and Frankie Valli. The performance takes place on Saturday 12 September, with a £16 ticket price.

The Money For Nothing event, hailed as ‘the UK’s no.1 Dire Straits tribute’ act, follows on Friday 18. Two days later sees The Nick Ross Orchestra perform The Sounds of the Glenn Miller Band. A full live ensemble captures the spirit of the forties with hits from Miller’s songbook alongside Count Basie, Stand Kenton and Tommy Dorsey, among others.

On Wednesday 23 to Friday 25, The Corn Exchange Theatre Players tackle the darkly comic Sherlock Holmes story The Case of the Stolen Suspenders. Saturday sees The Last Night of the Proms, with Horrible Histories Barmy Britain: Part Three rounding of the month’s schedule.
