Support for pregnant women and partners to stop smoking

One You Lincolnshire is here to support pregnant women and partners to quit smoking, as well as women who are considering conception or are post-natal.

Receiving support from a trained stop smoking specialist can improve your chances of quitting by up 4 times than if you face it alone.

One You Lincolnshire is a friendly, supportive and caring team here to offer you all the support & guidance you need. Its program is currently being delivered over the telephone, providing a 12-week intervention.

An initial appointment will last for up to 30 minutes and during this time the Stop Smoking practitioner will gain some background information on smoking history, habits, motivation, challenges and work towards setting a quit date.

Follow up appointments are 15 minutes either weekly or bi-weekly depending on need.

One You Lincolnshire provides 12-weeks’ worth of medication support for free. Nicotine Replacement Therapy is delivered by Royal Mail postage to your chosen address. It understands how difficult it can be to quit which is why we are here to help.

Whether you’re smoking 1 a day or 50 a day, the single best thing you can do for you and your babies health is to quit smoking.

Call One You Lincolnshire today on 01522 705 162 or visit the website. You can also speak to your midwife or GP for referral.

A message from the Editor:

Thank you for reading this story on our news site - please take a moment to read this important message:

As you know, our aim is to bring you, the reader, an editorially led news site and magazine but journalism costs money and we rely on advertising, print and digital revenues to help to support them.

With the Covid-19 pandemic having a major impact on our industry as a whole, the advertising revenues we normally receive, which helps us cover the cost of our journalists and this website, have been drastically affected.

As such we need your help. If you can support our news sites/magazines with either a small donation of even £1, or a subscription to our magazine, which costs just £27.55 per year, (inc p&P and mailed direct to your door) your generosity will help us weather the storm and continue in our quest to deliver quality journalism.

As a subscriber, you will have unlimited access to our web site and magazine. You'll also be offered VIP invitations to our events, preferential rates to all our awards and get access to exclusive newsletters and content.

Just click here to subscribe and in the meantime may I wish you the very best.
