Support Jerry Green and win prizes this Christmas

Jerry Green Dog Rescue is launching a festive schedule to help raise precious funds to combat the devastating financial blow the pandemic has dealt.

Although the charity’s retail and centre doors have bene forced to close during the second national lockdown – and all prospects of community fundraising are completely gone – the charity is determined to make Christmas magical.

19th November (continuing throughout the festive period)

Making Christmas special for our much-loved pets, or remembering those no longer with us, and helping to change the lives of homeless dogs.

‘Paw Prints on a Tree’ gives you the opportunity to celebrate, or remember, your beloved pet by decorating the tree at one of Jerry Green’s centres.

There is also ‘Paw Prints on a Tree’ in workplace locations that are open during lockdown. Should your establishment be open now or at any point this season, and you feel you would like to host a ‘Paw Prints on a Tree’ activity, email fundraising@jerrygreendogs.org.uk with your request.

The charity’s packs are free of charge and include 30 prints. They will also provide you with a collection box to collect the funds.

Many small local business across the charity’s centres’ communities have donated. So give a local business and a charity a jig of joy this Christmas and show your support.

Also, not forgetting the value of a classic UK staycation – check out the amazing prize of a tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia in Edinburgh on offer.

Some participating businesses have provided additional discount codes (for purchases through their individual sites), so please make sure you check out each lot for full terms and conditions and any added perks!

How does winning £1,000 sound this Christmas?

If you would like to enter Jerry Green’s Winter Grand Draw to be in with a chance of winning some cash, all you have to do is buy a ticket. They only cost £1.

There are 3 cash prizes up for grabs:

1st place: £1,000

2nd place: £500

3rd place: £250

All of the money raised from ticket sales will go towards providing essential care for the rescue dogs that are waiting for their forever home.

You can purchase your tickets over the phone by calling 07921 471566 (between the hours of 9am – 4pm, Monday to Friday) and they will post them to you. Or contact fundraising@jerrygreendogs.org.uk for all enquires.
