Following the discovery of approximately 75 bikes, including two motorcycles, at a property on Dunmow Street, Grimsby, two people have been arrested on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods.
It was reported to Humberside Police that stolen bikes were being sold on social media, some of which have been identified within this discovery.
A 38-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were arrested on Sunday 12 July and have since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
A number of the bikes have been seized and some have been reunited with their rightful owners.
If your bike has been recently stolen in the area and you believe one may be yours, contact Humberside Police on its non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number 16/73336/20.
