We were sent a Bellini case – here’s what we thought

Lincolnshire Today was recently sent a Bellini case by The Wine Society to recreate this delicious prosecco cocktail at home.

The case contained a bottle of high-quality prosecco with Van Nahmen white peach or rhubarb nectars. Together it struck the perfect balance between tart and sweet for the ultimate in cocktail indulgence.

Key to the quality of this case is the prosecco made from grapes grown by the Adami family. Specifically, the grapes are grown on recently UNESCO certified slopes that are impossible to farm by machine and must therefore be tended to by hand. The grapes are more flavoursome and balanced leading to more elegant and characterful wines.

The nectars, meanwhile, are made from freshly pressed heirloom fruits by the Van Nahmen family, artisan pressers of juice since the thirties.

Together, the prosecco and your preferred nectar create a drink that’s superbly balanced, sophisticated and absolutely delicious. We can’t recommend it high enough.

If you’ve never had the pleasure of tyring a Bellini, don’t settle for less and treat yourself to this delicious case just in time for Christmas. You can purchase a case for yourself or as a gift from The Wine Society.
