An unusual collection In contrast to the success of a Lincolnshire local in auctioning off a box of ‘broken porcelain’ for more than £160,000, as highlighted in Lincolnshire Today last month, a rather unusual collection has not seen the same fervour from possible buyers. A pensioner with a unique assortment of 163 bedpans recently turned to a Stamford auction house to sell the items, having run out of space to keep them. Sadly, no bidders came forward for the collection which is noted to include such classics as “The Improved ‘Ideal’ bed and douche slipper” and a “Jones Ware ‘Relax’ no. 500.” Clean, washed and in good condition, Mary is seeking a new home for the ceramic and enamel bedpans, for those who may be interested. watercooler 78 LINCOLNSHIRE TODAY LincolnshireToday @lincstoday lincolnshiretoday.net Have we missed anything? He shared: “Within 20 minutes of the camera going up, people slowed down.” Officials at the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, however, said the false camera would have to be taken down due to being “fitted without permission.” Fortunately, the move has seen the partnership say they will carry out a road survey to see if the area is indeed a speeding hotspot. © stock.adobe.com/Pat4U © stock.adobe.com/Dani Simmonds © stock.adobe.com/fotoduetsPrinting|Copying|Graphic Design LOGOS | BRANDING | BUSINESS STATIONERY FLYERS & POSTERS | BROCHURES | NEWSLETTERS A0 COPYING & SCANNING | OS MAPPING CAD & PLAN PRINTING | PRINT FINISHING High Quality Print & Design in Lincolnshire N 01522 546118 E sales@lincolncopycentre.co.uk www.lincolncopycentre.co.uk 45 YEARS IN BUSINESS £100 *Next >
