The coastline at Cleethorpes is welcoming back the ABP Coastal Half Marathon and 10k on September 17th. Runners from across the country have registered for event, including those with high hopes of qualifying for England Athletics Age Group Masters Half Marathon competition.
Supporting everyone taking part in the race will be event organisers Tape2Tape’s crew of volunteer Race Makers. Race Makers have several roles which ensure the event runs smoothly whilst also creating that special magic on the day to encourage everyone over the finishing line.
There is a role for everyone, and tasks include handing out water, t-shirts, medals and cake, or marshalling the running route. Children can also come along with an adult on the day to marshal.

All runners will receive a bespoke race medal that this year features a striking oystercatcher on a pebble shape to pay homage to the natural landscape that makes this coastal route stand out from the rest.”
