It’s that time of year again, when the Sandringham Game & Country Fair returns – take the opportunity to enjoy one of England’s top countryside events. Whether you are a country sports enthusiast or a family looking for a great day out, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at the event.
There’s three action packed show arenas offering all day entertainment by top countryside performers and smaller Have-a-Go rings that even include a Fun Dog Show for you to enter the family pooch.
A country show full of country sports and pursuits with arena entertainment running throughout the day, watch the Falconry, Gundogs, Horse Boarding, Scurry Driving and Stunt Display team.
Around the show there are a number of demonstrations and Have-a-Go events including Clay Shoot, Fishing, Airguns and Archery to name a few.
A visit to the World of Dogs section is a must for any dog lover, with a chance for your dog to participate in Lurcher Racing, Gun Dog Multi-Scurry, Working Test and the Fun Dog Show.
It’s then time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the Food Glorious Food section, with a variety of street food and drink vendors, chef demonstrations, and music marquee.
Here you will find an array of fine foods, wines and spirits from local and national producers and retailers in the fine food halls.
A visit to the craft village is well worth it, especially when looking for that special gift for a loved one or to treat yourself. A place to buy that unique gift and watch traditional craft demonstrations, this is accompanied by a chainsaw carving arena with the carvings being auctioned at the end of each speed carve event.
Children’s entertainment and amusements make it a great family day out.
