Chestnut Homes appoints pawfect labrador retriever mascot for Market Rasen

Chestnut Homes has recruited a new furry member to its Market Rasen team in celebration of the recent launch of its Chantrey Park development.

Loveable Labrador Retriever, Ted, has been crowned as the winner of the Chestnut Homes Furry Mascot competition, as chosen by the public.

The competition saw hundreds of Lincolnshire locals share pictures and videos of their dogs using the #ChantreyParkMascot hashtag. The four finalists; Gladys, Winston, Ted and Coco, were then put to public vote on the Chestnut Homes social media pages.

Winner Ted will be gifted a hamper full of special dog treats and will become a very important member of the Chestnut Homes team, offering a dog’s eye view of the new Chantrey Park development. Ted, who loves long walks in the countryside, belly rubs and playing with his toys, will lend his paw to a number of Chestnut Homes tasks over the coming weeks. In his new role, he’ll be able to wear a go-pro and be let loose to sniff out the perfect walks, find the best neighbours for treats and take house hunters on a video tour of the new show home through his eyes.

Chantrey Park consists of 300 homes and sits on the northern edge of the historic Lincolnshire town of Market Rasen. With prices starting from £179,950, it offers a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes ideal for first-time buyers, growing families and those wishing to downsize.

Helene Key, sales manager at Chestnut Homes, said: “We’re very excited to welcome our newest member to the team, Ted. Pets are a huge part of family life, and as a result, are a crucial part of the house-buying process. Looking at a house through a dog’s eye view is a fun way to see a different perspective and make sure a new home is right for all the members of the family. We look forward to having Ted on the team.”

Celebrating the win, Ted’s owner said: “I am so happy to see Ted crowned as the winner. He loves people and exploring new places, so he is the perfect mascot to help Chestnut Homes. I’m excited to see the world through Ted’s eyes on the go-pro footage.”
