< Previous80 LINCOLNSHIRE TODAYAries Mar 21 - Apr 20 You have an interesting way with words and always speak your mind. People who dither often annoy and frustrate you. Don’t hesitate in terminating a situation or relationship that is obviously going nowhere rather than continually banging your head against a brick wall. Taurus Apr 21 - May 21 There is so much whirring around in your head that is making you feel dizzy with all the excitement. It’s as though everything is happening at once and serious decision have to be made because time is of the essence. Gemini May 22 - June 21 It’s a bore to deal with accounts and mundane office stuff, but needs must if you are to keep your affairs in order. Keep your friends and your family in mind as you work through your busy schedule by arranging some fun time together. Cancer Jun 22 - Jul 23 This is an extremely sensitive time for many reasons, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself examining feelings about which direction your life is going in. Matters start picking up the moment you stop trying to please others and for once in your life, you begin putting yourself and your needs first instead. Leo Jul 24 - Aug 23 Tricky times are here and so tough decisions will have to be made and as usual, there is only you to deal with any of it as others just do not appear to appreciate the difficulties that lie ahead. Virgo Aug 24 - Sep 23 Growing concern over a loved one will make you feel as though you have got to say something and get things out into the open. You are right to follow your instincts and refuse to be fobbed off with excuses because they are not reasons. Libra Sep 24 - Oct 23 You are ready for change and excitement but you may also feel unable to make a definite decision about anything. If alone and looking for love, there is someone out there for waiting to meet you, but everything happens when the time is right, not before. Scorpio Oct 24 - Nov 22 You are always at your most efficient when your back is against the wall and surrounded by pressure and timelines. Finances may spark ill feelings with someone who is so obviously jealous of your lifestyle, so do the only sensible thing and give them a wide berth. Sagittarius Nov 23 - Dec 21 Affairs of the heart rarely run smoothly and complications will set in, but not necessarily dealt with satisfactorily. You will begin to wonder who to believe and whose side to take regarding a very complicated and overemotional tangle. Astrology by Linda Lancashire 0776 4466381 www.lindalancashire.co.uk teresastanley1@btinternet.co.ukCapricorn Dec 22 - Jan 20 Faced with life changing decisions, it would be wise if you took some time out to think things through carefully. At work, yours is a convincing plan, but not everyone will agree with you and you could find yourself locked in a stalemate position. Aquarius Jan 21 - Feb 19 Old friends from the past will be in touch, but you may try to avoid organising a meet up for personal reasons. Not a good idea to believe all the gossip that is going around about someone you care about because people love nothing more than to twist the truth. Pisces Feb 20 - Mar 20 An annoying business matter will at last be resolved, but don’t be surprised if you decide to look elsewhere for both inspiration and job satisfaction. You have a lot on your plate right now, but nothing you cannot handle quickly and efficiently.SUDOKUcompetitionClosing date for entries is: 20th MAY 2019 To enter just email the numbers that appear in the yellow squares to: competitions@blmgroup.co.ukWin a £20 voucher to spend with any of our advertisers in this issue.Last month’s solutionJ3A1N284753916 315496287 697128345 146239758 832574169 759681432 963847521 421965873 578312694 your starsLincolnshire Today’s guide to the astro month ahead...Image courtesy of shutterstock/Meowu827135946 364972815 915684372 491328567 536749128 278516439 159263784 683497251 74285169380.qxp_Layout 1 15/04/2019 11:54 Page 1Watch your profits grow www.mjp.supplies Tel: 01406 362325 Mobile 07702293727 MJPSupplies mjpsupplies For the purpose of importing and selling Algifol™ biostimulant products to farmers and growers of specialist cropsWe’re looking for those with a zest for life to join Lincolnshire Today’s sales team! The number has risen 11% since last year, with 635 people now cheating on their significant other. The figures come from Illicit Encounter where a spokesman claimed that there’s been a “particularly strong figures for cheating in towns and cities which voted out in the Brexit referendum”. Apparently locals didn’t just want out of the EU, but their relationships. 82 LINCOLNSHIRE TODAYStay in touch with Lincolnshire Today We love to know what you think of Lincolnshire Today – so get in touch with us via Twitter at @lincstoday or search for us on Facebook. Send your rib-ticklers to d.cuthbert@blmgroup.co.uk We’re no strangers to celebrity visits here in Lincolnshire, but one recent appearance from an actor who’s appeared in the Star Wars and Harry Potter franchises wasn’t exactly what we had in mind. Nicholas Read, who played an Ewok in 1983’s Return of the Jedi, was caught on CCTV exposing himself at an arcade in Ingoldmells back in March. Dressed as a jokey for a stag do event, the actor walked up to a 2p machine where he pulled down his trousers. He later claimed he was so drunk he thought it was a urinal. Read has since admitted a charge of outraging public decency. Grimsby cheaters blame Brexit Have your cake and eat it One Lincoln local has gone to extreme lengths to protest the constant dog poo found along her street. Having found herself having to dodge piles of poop on a daily basis, Claire Ellis took matters into her own hands… literally. The passionate cyclist gathered up dog poop from her street in the West End area of Lincoln and made it into a cake to send a message to dog walkers. The moral of the story is to pick up after your dog. The other moral is to never accept cake at Claire’s house. © Tom Maddick / SWNS© Shutterstock/Nomad_SoulBy thewatercoolerAnother month has passed us by so that means another edition of our By the watercooler series where we share some of the funniest news stories to pass this way.© Shutterstock/eelnosiva82.qxp_Layout 1 15/04/2019 11:53 Page 183.qxp_Layout 1 15/04/2019 11:52 Page 1With live cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs Simon Rimmer and Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown.A three day culinary extravaganza!#DeliciousDoncaster2019Tickets on sale NOW at: visitdoncaster.com84.qxp_Layout 1 15/04/2019 11:51 Page 1Next >
