According to the BBC, Rohan began following 10th tier Brigg Town after playing FIFA and is now hoping to visit the team at their Wrawby Road ground. His friendship with the club blossomed after he saw their new shirt on Facebook and requested one. Since then, Brigg Town have sent him more shirts, while Rohan provides graphics and updates for social media. Rohan says they treat him as “one of their own.” Speaking to the BBC, Elise Huxford, a club director, said: “I just think ‘wow, he’s from India. How did he find us?’ But how amazing that we are in constant contact.” watercooler 70 LINCOLNSHIRE TODAY LincolnshireToday @lincstoday lincolnshiretoday.net Have we missed anything? Send your rib-ticklers to m.fisher@blmgroup.co.uk By the A boatload of bagpipes A Cleethorpes man is looking to smash his own record by accumulating the world’s largest collection of bagpipes. After being given his first set around 50 years ago, the 60 year old now has a range of instruments valuing from £200 to £10,000. In 2013 Danny hit a record with 105 bagpipes, but has since continued his collection, to reach what he considers his peak with more than 200 instruments. Awaiting confirmation from the people at Guinness World Records, Danny is set to end his collecting, though he has no plans to quit playing. Happy birthday to you, dear street sign Lincolnshire residents taking action and making public digs at their councils to gain their attention and get fixes made seems to be growing in popularity; it comes as no surprise when the stunts are successful! In the latest instance a frustrated Quadring resident has held a birthday celebration for a broken street sign, taping a first birthday card to the Give Way sign on the junction of Town Drove and Main Road to mark over a year since reports of rust holes were made. A note stuck alongside said: “To the Give Way sign. After over a year awaiting repairs, I just wanted to say happy birthday to you…may you be fixed soon.” The county council clearly appreciated the cartoon crocodile-featuring card and heartfelt message, as the sign was swiftly replaced. © stock.adobe.com/anon © stock.adobe.com/ Stephen © stock.adobe.com/steevy84Summer is here!
